As part of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) reform process aimed at making the organization more effective, efficient, nimble and results-oriented in its mission to address global health issues, Dawson Ferguson Strategies, in conjunction with our strategic partner M&C Consulting, prepared an on-line global consultation for the November 2013 Seventh Global Meeting of Heads of WHO offices.

Our policy, communications and IT experts worked closely with WHO executives and their staff to develop this on-line consultation. We devised the methodology and questions and conducted the analytics. We also prepared the final report summarizing the results of the survey and an accompanying PowerPoint for delivery at the 2013 meeting.

The survey was addressed to all heads of country offices, as well as directors in regional offices and at headquarters. In all, 250 people globally were invited to complete the 50-question online survey and 149 participated.

The survey results helped shape the future direction of WHO and highlighted the need for concrete actions to ensure tailored and effective support to the 194 Member States.
